Our position at noon today offshore Guyana enroute to Barbados (the green dot). Lots of sun today and 84 degrees. Getting a good ride with only 5 foot swells.
LAST EVENING
After cocktails we met Captain Loris in Compass Rose for a very nice dinner. He played football (American style) in Italy in his earlier years and is a big Packers fan now. His Romanian wife will be joining him in Miami on the 21st when we will be disembarking.
Marcia's lemon press. Never seen one of these before.
Variety show after dinner. Enjoyed Ray's part in it but not the magician or Jeri Sager. I walked out during her singing. Great voice but poor song choices.
TODAY
Rebecca hit the treadmill again today. At 11:00 I went to listen to Brian Unger's lecture on Dominica. We will be there on Sunday.
Lunch in La Veranda at noon. Rebecca and Jane are streaming Bold & Beautiful and Young & Restless this afternoon on Paramount Plus. Guess I will watch a movie on TV.
The is a pre-dinner show at 6pm in the theater featuring the production cast in a tribute to James Bond, "Shaken Not Stirred". We grab a cocktail before entering.
Dinner planned in Compass Rose at 7pm. The ship's orchestra pianist will be presenting a classical piano concert in the theater at 9:15. Cheap entertainer for Regent. Entertainment on second half of this cruise has not been very good. Short blog post today.
We will be docked in Bridgetown on the island of Barbados tomorrow from 9am to 6pm.
